This drawing is from a photo taken at the Wolf People, Cocolalla, Idaho. It was wonderful to watch these magnificent animals interact.

  1. Hi Sue.
Another cracking drawing. Well done. If we all could draw as good as you, there would be no problems with our paintings, well, less problems anyway. All the best Sue.

  6. Hi Joanie,

Thank you and I am in the process of doing this drawing in pastel. It's slow, haven't done anything in pastel in quite some time.

  8. HI Sue!... It's always such a huge pleasure to visit your site and to discover yet another sensitine... evocative rendering of your animal portraits!

You capture more than texture. You capture the spirit of the animal(s).. or those moments where the line between animal and human behaviour becomes indistinct and blurred.Humans around the planet these days... sure could take a lesson from this moment!

This is one such moment... beautifully and skillfully captured! Bravo Sue!

    Sketch on!

    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  11. Hi Bruce,

Thank you for your kind and very encouraging comments. I agree humans should take lessons from moments like this and perhaps they would see the animal world in a different light. It requires an open mind to appreciate the struggles and lives of animals. You have Bruce!

    Best to you,

    Sue
