When visiting my cousin Joan on Long Island, oftentimes I go to my favorite birding place. It is Morton Wildlife Refuge, a birders delight! The sketch is from a photo taken while the little chickadee sat in my hand to get a peanut. It was truly being next to nature.
Brilliant drawings Sue, especially the bottom one. All the best Sue.

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteOkay, third try. It's on my end, still learning how to navigate my computer. Love these sketches. my favorite is the first, I remember whenever you would go to Morton you would tell me about the chicadee landing on your hand to eat the treats.
Very beautiful and like Vic said Brilliant drawings.
Talk soon,
Joanie

ReplyDeleteHi Vic,
ReplyDeleteThank you. I tried commenting on your blog last night three times about your street painting. I will try again.

Hi Joan,
ReplyDeleteThank you, Morton Wildlife holds good memories. May be time to visit again. I had a heck of a time with my computer last night trying to comment on blogs.
Sue
Hi Hilda,
ReplyDeleteThank you. I also tried commenting about your wonderful Maine painting but for some reason it did not go through. Thank you for visiting.
Sue
Very nice drawings. As a birder you may be interested in knowing there is a new Nikon camera out. I think it is 12Meg but the birder advantage is that it has 37X optical zoom. And the price is something like $400.
ReplyDeleteHi there Sue!..."One in the hand... is worth two in the bush", they say! This sketch certainly supports that fact and sensitively captures a moment and thrill that we outdoor folk treasure!
ReplyDeleteWell done... both "You"... and cousin Joanie!
Good sketching... and birding!
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving wishes to "You" and yours!
Warmest regards,
Bruce
