Wolves do not howl just at night only. This pair was howling on a beautiful sunny day. I may experiment and add w/c for the sky. Photo taken at Wolf People, Idaho.

Sugar is a work in progress, pastel on suede board.

Bird in hand, sea otter, osprey

When visiting my cousin Joan on Long Island, oftentimes I go to my favorite birding place. It is Morton Wildlife Refuge, a birders delight! The sketch is from a photo taken while the little chickadee sat in my hand to get a peanut. It was truly being next to nature.

Garden Vistitors

Charcoal

11x14

I had a little baby bunny in my yard all spring and summer. He/she was on her own but seemed quite content. I even saw her running around playing one day. It gave me the idea for this drawing, the wishing well is in my garden.
