This wolf was painted on suede board. The suede was given to me by my friend Leslie to experiment with as I had never used it before. The soft texture was wonderful and I know I will be purchasing some for future paintings.

I am having a problem with my computer. When I post my paintings they are somewhat stretched. I have to find a way to correct this.

  2. Hi Sue,
Your wolf painting looks beautiful. The tones and texture of the fur are outstanding. I also love the way you rendered the eyes. Great job Suzy girl.

  3. As usual Sue, your drawing is second to none, well done again. I have had your problem, and I was told it is due to posting too many shots in one posting. But this can`t be your problem because you have only posted one. Sorry I can`t help you there Sue. All the best.

  4. Hi Joanie,

Thanks so much for your comments. I do like painting "small" (8x10). Hopefully, I can get into a groove of painting more.

  5. Hi Vic,

Thank you and for your input into my problem with the computer. I don't post that much so I don't think that is what's happening. Unfortunately, I don't know much about it so I am going to have to get some help with this. Thanks for visiting.

    Best to you Vic,

    Sue

  6. Hi Sue!... I had missed this post! Sorry!

"I" think that this is perhaps my all time favourite "El Greco"! The textures that you have created in this one give your subject ann intensity and reality that is hard to catch!

The eyes are penetrating! Catch those accurately... and you enter the soul of the animal... or person!

A superb portrait! Nothin' short of that my dear! Vi'c's so right: "Second to none!"

    Good Painting!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

PS Looking forward to your "Bear" finished! Good luck with it! A gentle face captured... already!
